Dive into the phenomenon of dense crowds—like at festivals—through the lens of physics and social science, and see its impact on our interactions in the streets, in elevators and even online!

How can a large crowd be similar to grains of sand? In this exhibition, our guides invite you to look at our social interactions differently. Why does everyone stare at the door in an elevator? How does online content become viral? How can we tell how many people are in a crowd?
