Travelling exhibition Brew. Of Taverns and Men
Brew continues to be one of Québec’s greatest cultural phenomena! Inspired by the simple and all-male bar-going experience, the comedy explores the familiarity, candour and woes of these men and their era.
The exhibition goes behind the scenes of this cult play, exploring its sets, props and costumes. Through a number of videos, the actors and the team behind the production share their thoughts and reflections.
Beyond the story itself, Brew. Of Taverns and Men also delves into the history of taverns in Québec. It includes photos by documentary filmmaker Alain Chagnon, who met with several tavern regulars.
The Musée supplies all exhibition components, tailoring them to your space. It is responsible for organizing, setting up and dismantling the exhibition, as well as loaning objects from the collection.
