Can you remember your last big catch? You probably posted its photogenic snapshot all over your social media! After all, all self-respecting fishermen and women keep a fishing story or two in their back pocket…
Fishing Stories dives into the history of sport fishing in Québec, from the arrival of English soldiers at the end of the 18th century to the present day.
The exhibition features a fascinating interactive virtual lake. Visitors will get a taste of the excitement that nature inspires in those who love fishing.
Walking the fine line between fact and fiction, the exhibition takes a playful approach—especially with certain objects whose authenticity is unknown.
The virtual tour is produced in collaboration with Gaspésie Virtuelle.
Presented by Sépaq and the Fondation de la faune du Québec.
