About our exhibitions
The headphones that are provided on-site are necessary to fully enjoy the audio experience of Word is Bond. The Sound of Rap Queb. The exhibition’s capacity is limited by the number of available headphones. Please note that, for this reason, there may be a delay before you able to enter the exhibition.
Useful information for groups
Opening hours
- June 24, 2023 to September 4, 2023: daily, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- September 5, 2023 to June 23, 2024: Tuesday to Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Please note that you can arrive as of 9 a.m. for guided tours (by a Musée guide).

Location and access
When arriving at the Musée with your group, use the drop-off lane in front of the Musée or one of the parking lots in the Vieux-Port. For more details, consult the Québec City Guide for Tour Bus Drivers.
Dining area
Tables are available in the basement. Reservations are required during the school week, and capacity is limited. Let us know if you will need tables when making your reservation or go to group reservations.
Universal accessibility
The Musée is an accessible site. Consult the Universal Accessibility section for details.
Cloakroom
Cloakrooms are available and reserved for your visit.
Reception
When you arrive at the Musée, please use the group entrance located to the right of the main doors on Dalhousie Street. If you have chosen a guided tour with a Musée guide, they will meet you when you arrive. Otherwise, make your way to the group reception desk where you will be given all information necessary for your visit.
Remember…
- No food or drink is allowed in the exhibition halls.
- Water bottles and containers with liquid should be stored in your purse or backpack.
- As light can deteriorate many works of art, flash photography is not permitted.
- Do not touch any of the objects in the exhibition halls.
- Move around the Musée calmly. Running is not allowed.
- Umbrellas must be left in the cloakroom.
Accompanying adults
Primary school groups: Students must move around the Musée in small groups, accompanied by at least one adult.
Secondary school groups: Students are free to move around the Musée on their own. Accompanying adults must be present in each exhibition room visited.
