Horse Power!

Hippomobile bleue avec des roues rouges avec une espace pour le cocher à l'arrière et les bagages à l'avant.

Rolling or sliding—and always dazzling—horse-drawn carriages attest to a time when the horse was the ideal means of transportation.

The exhibition showcases the carriages of collector Paul Bienvenu, whose passion inspired the largest collection of this kind in North America.

Horse Power! explores 200 years of horse-drawn vehicles in Québec. It highlights the expertise of the Quebecers who built these carriages, which made travel possible in both summer and winter.

The exhibition also introduces us to the prominent people who used these vehicles.

With the collaboration of Fairmont Le Château Frontenac, official hotel, and the newspaper Le Soleil.
