Donate an Object
One of the pillars of the Musée de la civilisation’s mission is to preserve and showcase the collections that represent our civilization. Do you own rare objects, works or documents with a story to tell? These could one day become part of the Musée’s collections! By donating pieces to the Musée, you could contribute to our rich collective heritage.
Each offer we receive will go through an initial review within one month of receipt. Additional information and images may be requested. If your offer is successful, it will be submitted for recommendation at a collection development committee meeting. The length of the process varies depending on the offer and can take up to 18 months.
Please note that the Musée de la civilisation is not mandated to provide a monetary appraisal of the pieces.
