Exhibition<\/h2>\n<p>Covering 1,570 m<sup>2<\/sup>, making it the biggest area ever used for a Mus\u00e9e de la civilisation exhibition, In Other Words, Qu\u00e9bec features six pavilions with different themes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Inhabiting includes the <em>Cartier-Roberval archaeological site, where two worlds meet<\/em>, presented by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.capitale.gouv.qc.ca\/\">Commission de la capitale nationale du Qu\u00e9bec <\/a><\/li>\n<li>Living<\/li>\n<li>Exchanging<\/li>\n<li>Sharing<\/li>\n<li>Protesting<\/li>\n<li>Belonging<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n  <div class=\"accordion mt-60\" >\n    <!-- item -->\n    <div history<\/strong><br \/>\nThe Inhabiting pavilion, the first chapter of the <em>In Other Words, Qu\u00e9bec <\/em>exhibition, explores how various peoples have lived in and transformed this land over time, shedding light on the migrations, encounters and ways this vast territory has been occupied.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Where two worlds meet: The Cartier-Roberval archeological site<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Presented by the Commission de la\u00a0capitale nationale du\u00a0Qu\u00e9bec, this section of the Inhabiting pavilion is entirely devoted to <strong>France\u2019s first attempt at colonization in 1541<\/strong> in what is now Cap\u2011Rouge.<\/p>\n<p>The Mus\u00e9e de la civilisation offers an <strong>immersive and interactive experience<\/strong> that brings this foundational event to life in various ways:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>An immersive film<\/strong> about archaeologist Yves\u00a0Chr\u00e9tien\u2019s discovery of the site in 2005<\/li>\n<li><strong>The <em>L<\/em><\/strong><strong><em>a mission du Roy<\/em><\/strong> educational activity for young audiences<\/li>\n<li><strong>The <em>L<\/em><\/strong><strong><em>e fort d\u2019en haut<\/em><\/strong> interactive game that sheds light on daily life in the colony<\/li>\n<li><strong>A selection of items from our collection<\/strong> found in archaeological digs<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div class=\"ratio and businesses, this pavilion presents the encounters that take place through work, trade, negotiations and spending.<\/p>\n<p>The different trade methods used to obtain goods and services show the social changes in Qu\u00e9bec.<\/p>\n<p>The Sharing Pavilion displays a crucial space for mutual help and solidarity in Qu\u00e9bec: a home.
