The Bladon children of Lang, Saskatchewan were proud owners of this colorful jack-in-the-box. The family of eight arrived from Illinois in 1910 to make their home on a Saskatchewan farm. Remarkably, they saved dozens of their childhood toys, some in their original boxes.

My husbands father grew up in New York. He was 83 when he died one year ago. As we separated estate items we found a jax-in-the-box with a laminated note that said it belonged to his great grandfather. The jax-in-the-box looks like possibly an Irishman with a cap with a furry tassle. The colored box has lost it's color. We would appreciate any information you can share.
